Puddin Creek Kennel

About Us

Puddin' Creek Kennel is a small, family owned kennel. We are hobby breeders and enjoy raising French Bulldogs. As stated on my homepage, we are located in Georgia. I am a stay-at-home mom, my husband is self-employed, we have 1 child who is married, and 2 children who are still at home and are active in the kennel. We also have been blessed with one grand baby!

 

About our facilities

We have a 48x24 fenced in area for our adult dogs to stay in. Each dog has their own pen, automatic waterer, and house. Our kennel is on concrete to help prevent pesky fleas, ticks, and mites. We feed our adult dogs Showtime adult food which is 27% protein and our whelping moms and puppies are fed Purina Pro Plan lamb and rice puppy food. When mom gets ready to deliver, she is brought into our "puppy room", we usually do this about 2 weeks before delivery. This room is kept between 78 - 80 degrees year round. The puppies are kept in this room until adopted.

Our facility is kept very clean...the pens are washed out daily and all feeders are checked and filled. We bleach regularly and also use disinfectants recommended by our vet to prevent diseases.The kennel is inspected by the Georgia Agircultural Department at various times throughout the year. We are licensed by the GAD.

Our adult dogs are given shots yearly to prevent disease. They also receive regular wormings and treatments to prevent fleas, ticks, and earmites. We begin our puppies on a regimen of puppy wormer at the age of 2 weeks. This is continued every 2 weeks until adopted. When our puppies turn 6 weeks old, after being weaned, we begin their vaccinations. We administer these shots here, under the direction of our vet. They receive the proper shots about every 3 weeks until all neccessary vaccinaions have been received or the puppy has been adopted. Our puppies are taken to the vet for a "well-vet check" before leaving our facility to go to its new home.

WE DO NOT IMPORT PUPPIES FOR RESALE! All puppies are AKC registerable and are born either here at our home or at our veterianrian's clinic. Puppies come to you with: a puppy starter kit, well vet check, health guarantee, AKC puppy application, and up-to-date shot and deworming records as well as a heart full of love.

  • We offer a 1 year Health Guarantee against life-threatening genetic defects.
  • It is the responsibility of the Buyer to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours of receiving the puppy or this Health Guarantee is Null and Void.
  • All puppies will get a Health Check/Certificate from a licensed veterinarian before any flight.
  • If your licensed veterinarian finds any life-threatening health issue within the 48 hour period, immediate notification must be sent to the Seller. The puppy can be returned to the Seller for refund or replacement. All expenses are the responsibility of the Buyer.
  • Seller guarantees a Healthy pet, but cannot guarantee ultimate size, shape, color, or temperament of the puppy.
  • Any disorder or problems brought on by environmental factors are not the Seller’s responsibility.
  • Buyer acknowledges that pets sometimes need to be taken to the vet for various reasons. All expenses are Buyer’s responsibility.
  • This Guarantee does not cover any condition that is considered common in the Bulldog breed, including, but not limited to, stenotic nares (partially closed nostrils), elongated soft palate, cherry eyes, entropion, loose hips, and skin allergies. Undescending testicles and hernias are also not covered.
  • This Guarantee does not cover fleas, ticks, ear mites, coccidia, or kennel cough (all of which can be contracted during transporting).
  • By purchasing a puppy from us, Buyer agrees and accepts all the terms of this Health Guarantee.
